Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions are intended to ensure that all guests enjoy a safe, relaxing and pleasant stay at Trewan Sands Caravan Park.


1. Booking & Payment

  • A booking is only confirmed once the required deposit or full payment has been received.
  • The remaining balance must be paid two weeks before arrival unless otherwise agreed.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice until a booking has been confirmed.
  • By making a booking, guests agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.


2. Arrival & Departure

Touring, Motorhome & Camping Pitches

  • Check-in: From 1:00 pm
  • Check-out: By 11:00 am

Static Caravans & Cottage

  • Check-in: From 4:00 pm
  • Check-out: By 10:00 am

Early arrivals or late departures may be accommodated by prior arrangement and may incur an additional charge.


3. Cancellation Policy

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be charged in full.
  • If you need to leave early, refunds cannot be given for unused nights.


4. Visitors

  • Visitors are welcome by prior agreement with site management.
  • All visitors must report to Carl or Fiona on arrival.
  • Guests are responsible for the behaviour of their visitors.
  • Visitors must leave the site by 10:00 pm unless otherwise agreed.


5. Dogs

Trewan Sands Caravan Park is a dog-friendly site and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

To ensure everyone enjoys their stay:

  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
  • Owners must clean up after their dogs immediately.
  • Dogs must not be left unattended.
  • Excessive barking or aggressive behaviour will not be tolerated.
  • Dogs are not permitted in shower or toilet facilities.

Failure to comply may result in being asked to leave the site.


6. Site Rules

Guests are asked to:

  • Respect fellow campers at all times.
  • Keep noise to a minimum.
  • Supervise children at all times.
  • Keep pitches tidy.
  • Dispose of rubbish in the designated recycling bins.
  • Use facilities responsibly.
  • Respect wildlife and neighbouring farmland.


7. Quiet Hours

Quiet hours are between:

11:00 pm – 7:00 am

Please avoid loud music, shouting or unnecessary vehicle movements during these times.


8. Vehicle Speed Limit

A maximum speed limit of 5 mph applies throughout the campsite.

Please drive carefully and be aware of pedestrians and children.


9. Fire Safety

  • Barbecues are permitted provided they are raised off the grass.
  • Disposable barbecues must not be placed directly on the ground.
  • Fire pits are only permitted with prior permission.
  • Open fires are strictly prohibited.
  • Fireworks, sky lanterns, chinese lanterns and kites are not permitted.


10. Electric Hook-Up

Guests are responsible for ensuring their electrical equipment complies with current UK safety standards.

Trewan Sands Caravan Park accepts no responsibility for damage caused by faulty equipment.


11. Facilities

Guests may use the shower and toilet facilities.

The tokens for the showers are available for £1 each from either Fiona or Carl.

Please leave facilities clean and report any faults to site management.

12. Behaviour

Management reserves the right to refuse admission or require any guest to leave without refund if they:

  • Cause nuisance or disturbance.
  • Behave aggressively or abusively.
  • Damage property.
  • Fail to follow site rules.
  • Put other guests' safety at risk.


13. Damage

Guests are responsible for any damage caused by themselves, their children, pets or visitors.

The cost of repairs or replacement will be charged accordingly.


14. Liability

Vehicles, caravans, motorhomes, tents and personal belongings remain the owner's responsibility at all times.

Trewan Sands Caravan Park accepts no responsibility for loss, theft or damage except where caused by our negligence.


15. Emergencies

In the event of an emergency, please contact site management immediately.

Guests should familiarise themselves with the location of:

  • Fire points
  • Emergency exits


16. Right to Amend

Trewan Sands Caravan Park reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions and site rules at any time where reasonably necessary.
